Program A — Registered Barber

Registered Barber Program in Spartanburg, SC

Master clipper work, fades, shear cutting and the straight-razor shave. A 1,500-hour, hands-on path to your South Carolina barber license — taught one-on-one and built around State Board exam prep.

Master the classics of the barbering trade

The Registered Barber program at Bareknuckle Hair Institute is built for one thing: turning out confident, licensed barbers who can walk into any shop in the Upstate and command the chair. You'll train on Spartanburg's shop floor under master barbers in small cohorts — you cut, they correct, you improve.

This is the traditional South Carolina barbering license, covering the state's 1,500-hour minimum at a Board-approved school. Every hour is hands-on, taught by professionals who still work behind the chair.
